I can't really talk about it because my friend is still working on a paper about it...:-)
:icondewlap:
What you are looking at is about a 10th of the painting. There are a lot more little things like that if you see the whole picture (which I don't really have a photo of...) As far as I know the painting is still sitting at the museum at Lourinha in Portugal... :-)

I like the colour pattern on the distal part of the tail! and thats a long neck for a Stegosaurian! Lets wait for the paper!
:icondewlap:
The colour patterns... well there are more than ten kinds of animals in the original picture and I ran out of idea of colours and patterns very quickly, so these colour patterns are actually determined by whatever is in the paint palette at the time. Thanks for liking the pattern on the end of the tail although that is the part that I found the most unrealistic, because you rarely find a giant land creature that is naturally blue (I know, I know there are the cassowaries, some tropical frogs and lizards and many many more...However, these are smallish animals (less than 500kg)).
:icondarkbinder:
Ok hope your friend notify when he finish=).

Woah...beautiful drawing...I can\'t wait to hear about this stegosaur.
:iconhaxeman:
As a friend of mine usually says: "no one has ever seen a dinosaur" (at least not nonavian dinosaurs!) So any pattern s suitable for me! Ok, I know, we tend to think thath any prehistoric animal would have similar color pattern to that of actual animals! It may be! or maybe not! who knows!

Holy four-winged protobirds! You have emulated GS Paul's style and improved it all at once :D
